Senior Operating Advisor
Specialized operational depth on a temporary basis, when a topic requires expertise that is not meaningfully available in the existing team.
2–5 days/month · 6–18 months · Parallel possible · Start within two weeks
1
When this role fits
  • ERP, Revenue Operations, KPI architecture, AI readiness, or pricing require operational depth that is missing internally.
  • CEO or Operating Partner needs an experienced sparring partner who thinks along and shares responsibility – no full-time presence, but clear operational expertise.
2
What's behind it
  • Some topics don't need a full-time executive, but more than just good advice. They need someone who really knows the topic, thinks operationally, and takes responsibility for the result.
  • The Senior Operating Advisor is not an external consultant who gives recommendations. He works directly with the leadership team, regularly, focused, and with a clear view of what really matters. Not activity, but impact.
3
How I intervene
  • Days 01–30 (Scoping & Diagnosis) Situation-specific scoping. Identify structural causes. Clear recommendation for action within the first few weeks.
  • Ongoing (Operational Support) Regular sessions with CEO, CFO or Operating Partner. Operational co-responsibility, not external consulting.
  • At the End (Handover) Embed results. Improvements continue after the mandate, independent of external support.
